My father bought a Hi-Fi set identical to this one in 1960. It had a Perpetuum-Ebner turntable in it, but I believe the tape deck was of Grundig manufacture. There was a drawer in the bottom that isn't visible in your picture. This was a beautiful set with a high gloss finish on the cabinet, but the electronics proved to be high maintenance over time.
